Carlos Tevez spent over 6 years of his career performing in the Premier League as the Argentine player made his way through West Ham United, Manchester United and lastly Manchester City. All of these were the English sides that Tevez joined before eventually joining the Italian side Juventus.
The Argentine striker has enough experience performing in different leagues as he has been part of some of the major European leagues and according to Carlos Tevez, he believes that scoring in the Premier League is much more easier than in Italy.
Carlos Tevez said: “It’s much easier to score in the Premier League, where the ball doesn’t stop moving, the action is everywhere and the midfield is non-existent. Here you see a striker up against five defenders; it’s much more difficult than in England. The Italian league is of a high standard.”
The 31 year old forward continued on by giving praise to his teammates as he told reporters: “My team-mates and Allegri give me so much confidence. I’m happy with how the coach asks me to play. We made some kind of deal: when I get the ball I can do whatever I want but I have to perform very specific tasks in defence.I like being in contact with the ball. If you don’t give it to me, I’ll get it.”
Juventus had to pay €10 million to Manchester City in June of 2013 as the Italian club lured Tevez away from the Premier League and that was a bargain price for a player who is consistently scoring goals for the team and has turned into one of the most influential players in the side of MassimilianoAllegri along with: Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal and Gianluigi Buffon.
