Juventus striker Carlos Tevez has claimed that Argentina manager Alejandro Sabella should consider getting his own satellite television in order to watch Juventus matches. The jibe is placed on the Argentina manager after he has not selected the forward for the last three years. Tevez was an integral part of the national team prior to the arrival of Sabella. However, the new Argentine manager saw Tevez not perform well and also created a lot of problems due to the presence of Lionel Messi.
It is heavily rumoured that Tevez does not get along with Messi, who is widely perceived to be the best player in the world, but the 31-year-old has always rejected those arguments. This year, he has been in excellent form for the Italian Serie A club. He has helped them win a third consecutive league title by scoring an incredible 12 goals this season. Sabella, on the other hand, has a wealth of options to choose from when it comes to his strikers. The likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Aguero, Lionel Messi, and Ezequiel Lavezzi have all been performing well this campaign.
Out of the sheer frustration that he has not been picked for the national team for several years, Tevez has said that Sabella should consider getting his own satellite television.
“I think the coach of Argentina’s national team must not have satellite television hooked up to watch Juventus. I do not think I have any hope of going to the World Cup now. I am a direct striker, maybe that plays against me and that means Sabella does not have a good impression of me,” said the striker after his team recorded a 3-1 win over Sassuolo during the weekend. Argentina will be facing the likes of Iran and Bosnia in the World Cup group stages.
